Unkwn42 helps climate researchers find what's missing in scientific literature.

We're building tools to solve a problem every researcher knows: the fear of discovering that your "novel" research has already been done, just under a different name.

Scientific terminology changes over time. What's called "ocean acidification" today was "seawater pH decline" a decade ago. These shifts create blind spots in literature reviews, leading to duplicated efforts and missed opportunities.

Our Mission

We want to help researchers spend less time worrying about what they might have missed and more time making discoveries that matter. By surfacing terminology changes and identifying gaps in the literature, we aim to accelerate climate research.

Current Status

We're in early development, collecting data on what researchers are looking for. Your searches help us understand which topics to prioritize and how to build the most useful tool possible.
